It has been a great year for Johor Darul Ta’zim FC with plenty of success from the senior team to juniors, but 2022 is not over. This club will continue to strive for greater things, and we will need the backing of everyone in the JDT Family — management, coaches, players, staff and fans — to complete this season on an even higher note.
We have already won nine trophies so far in 2022, with our JDT Academy delivering seven of it — including JDT III winning the President’s Cup (U21) for the first time. JDT II are likely to be crowned Premier League champions on Friday too.
The senior team, who made history by reaching the AFC Champions League knockout rounds, are now on the verge of winning the Super League for a record ninth straight time, something I believe will unlikely ever be matched. A triple hattrick! These are simply unprecedented times.
We have another five matches to secure the title, but anything can happen in football and we will need every bit of support from the fans and the entire JDT Family in the remaining matches to reach our target of a triple hattrick.
