BERGSON AND LEANDRO’S STRIKES NOMINATED FOR AFC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2022 BEST GOAL

Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) players Bergson Da Silva and Leandro Velasquez’s strikes have been nominated for the Best Goal award of the AFC Champions League 2022 (East) campaign.

Bergson’s goal against Ulsan Hyundai on 18 April 2022 during the group stage helped the Southern Tigers win 2-1 against the 2020 winners.

Meanwhile, Leandro Velasquez’s beautiful free-kick in another match against the same opponents was instrumental to ensure JDT’s 2-1 win and qualification to the last 16.
