I am very happy that Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) will play in the Malaysia Cup final for the competition’s 100th anniversary. It’s an honour. Well done to the JDT squad. I also want to take the opportunity to congratulate the Kuala Lumpur City FC squad and management for creating history by reaching the final after 32 years.
If we win the trophy, it will be another trophy this year after winning the Malaysia Super League to qualify for the AFC Champions League again, and also the Charity Cup. If we don’t, I’ll actually be glad to see a team like KL playing the AFC Cup next year.
