Johor Darul Ta’zim FC’s (JDT) Esports debut next month will help the club venture into new territories as part of efforts to broaden the club’s horizons.
JDT have previously established JDT Boxing Club and JDT Ice Hockey Club while the brand is also associated with Argentina-based polo team, Johor-Ellerstina.
The growth of the JDT brand in stature has enabled the Southern Tigets to attract international partners such as UNICEF, Aston Martin Racing, Nike, Hublot. Subway and F&N.
JDT Esports debut take place at the inaugural Champions eFootball competition September 9 – October 7. The Southern Tigers will be represented by JDT professional footballer Mohamadou Sumareh and eFootballer Mohamad NorHaikal Noh, who is the 2018 Asian Games semifinalist.
