Having announced the venture into Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) on 22 July 2021, Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) are in the midst of finalising and announcing two exciting projects under the JDTDigital umbrella — JDT Fan Token and JDT NFT Marketplace — with two international companies in deals set to be worth millions of dollars to the football club.
Talks have been underway with a major international player in the industry to ensure the Southern Tigers deliver a well-planned program with premium products and value to the fans, in-line with standards set by HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor.
JDT’s NFT Marketplace will allow fans to collect artwork inspired by the club, with each token unlocking various unique ways to engage with Southeast Asia’s leading football club. While collecting JDT NFTs, fans will be able to enjoy once in a lifetime experiences such as VIP hospitality, unique player experiences and having access to exclusive JDT memorabilia. JDT’s NFT project as a whole differs from some clubs that have quickly entered the space following JDT’s announcement in July as it’s a planned series of engagement points that offers gamification and real world benefits from the digital artwork and tokens.
Meanwhile, JDT Fan Tokens will see the fans getting their opinions heard like never before. Fans will be able to vote on some real life non-technical club decisions as well as receive “money-cant-buy” rewards and exclusive promotions. Luaskan Kuasamu Johor.
