Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) coach Benjamin Mora dedicated the success of helping the team defend and win the Super League crown for eight consecutive seasons to the loyal supporter of the Southern Tigers that were founded in 2013.
Mora said the role and influence of Crown Prince of Johor, HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim as JDT owner was an inspiration for the team’s success, including strengthening the Super League dominance.
The support provided by Tunku Ismail from the aspect of the club’s strong financial backing, providing advanced facilities and environment as well as mental and emotional support made JDT the most successful team today.
“It is not easy for JDT to be at this level and this is the result of Tunku Ismail’s hard work. We just have to repay His Royal Highness by winning championships after championships to the point we are obsessed and it makes us always hungry for victory, ”he said after JDT secured this season’s Super League title.
