“In football, every game is different” – Hector

The match last night against Terengganu was tough, they are a good team and play good football too.

In football, “every game is different”. While we play a certain style at our home in Johor, away matches always demand a different approach and we had to tweak certain tactical matters in order to get the points, which is always our motive whenever we take the field.

It is uncommon for a team to be unbeaten away from home for 44 league matches, so I have to commend the team for a great accomplishment because every awayday is different. We must strive to main this extraordinarily record.

Some of our players also look tired after having six away games in the last eight matches. We have rotated the squad in some of those matches but there are still tired legs such as Shane Lowry, Shahrul Saad, Fernando Forestieri, Arif Aiman and so on. We also have several players like Natxo Insa and Syamer Kutty injured while Matt Davies and Bergson da Silva have just returned from injury.

We will utilise the coming days to recuperate, prepare and travel for the AFC Champions League match against Urawa Reds in Japan on August 19.
