Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) as a sign of commitment of both global brands in taking local football to a higher level.
Through this partnership, Malaysia Airlines will become JDT’s exclusive flight partner to fly the team to matches around Malaysia and when JDT represent the country in international tournaments, besides offering opportunities in merchandise rights and unique fan experiences.
The partnership will also see the JDT brand have more visibility around the world with the ‘Fearless: Rise of the Southern Tigers’ series being shown on the Malaysia Airlines in-flight entertainment system across its networks.
Malaysia Airlines flies to 1,100 designations in 150 countries around the world and will focus on Johor as its new destination hub especially to East Malaysia destinations.
