Johor Darul Ta’zim FC are perplexed by the continuous baseless allegations by Kedah FA, this time by chief executive officer Zulkifli Che Haron, insisting JDT still owe Kedah training and development compensation.
JDT insist that we have not been ordered by any party to pay such compensation nor enter into negotiation after the decision by arbitrators on 9 January 2020 to quash FA of Malaysia’s initial decision of awarding training compensation to Kedah.
While Kedah are eligible to initiate a new claim regarding training compensation, it is nonsensical to claim JDT have not settled dues when JDT have not been ordered to pay anything by football authorities nor arbitrators at this point. JDT are not obliged to enter into any negotiation unless required by any authority.
