Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) climbed up the football rankings to 415th in the world, 20th in Asia and first in Southeast Asia based on the latest data released by Opta Analyst on August 9.

JDT collected 73.7 points to move up from last month’s ranking of No.447th in the world, 31st in Asia and 2nd in Southeast Asia.

The football analysis website ranks almost 13,500 football clubs. No other teams from Malaysia were in the Top 1500, with other Malaysian League teams sitting at 1,896th or lower. In Southeast Asia, JDT climbed above Buriram United, ranking at 603th with 71.9 points.
