Based on the crowd attendance stats released by the Malaysia Football League (MFL), Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) have recorded the highest crowd attendance figures in Malaysia from 2015 to 2019 at the Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Hassan Yunos Stadium and since 2022 at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.
After moving to the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic affected the world and caused matches to take place without spectators in 2020 and at a reduced capacity in 2021.
The 2022 season saw 196,801 fans attend the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium for Super League and Charity Cup action with an average of 17,891 fans in each match.
In the early stages of the 2022 season, crowd attendance was limited to 50% as the country reopened after the Covid-19 pandemic.
The year 2023 saw JDT record the highest crowd attendance with 99,280 from the first four Super League matches. Luaskan Kuasamu Johor.
