There is just no stopping Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT).

They have continued their ambitious project to become a RM1bil worth football club by striking a major sponsorship deal with electric motorcycle manufacturer SWAG Electric Vehicle (EV) for next season.

It’s a timely boost for the team as many others have been struggling with finance during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Singapore-based company became the third international sponsors to have joined forces with JDT, adding to the illustrious list which include sportswear giant Nike and renowned Swiss watchmaker Hublot. And that’s not just it as JDT said there are two more on the way.

The club’s owner HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor had recently said that JDT were still on track to achieve their RM1bil target by next year despite facing challenges in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic.

“I am grateful that JDT are getting recognised internationally and this will help us in achieving our RM1bil target,” said HRH Tunku Ismail.
