“The central training camp in Johor Bahru this time will surely help us prepare the team better for the three remaining qualifying matches as Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) have world-class training facilities, which are the best for football in this country,” said Tan Cheng Hoe.

“Their training centre is a high-performance training centre and of course I hoping to make the most of the national squad through this central training camp because the preparations for the final three matches is very important. The JDT Training Centre is also has its own fitness and medical centre, in addition to enabling training on various types of field surfaces and it is located near the team’s hotel.

“Taking into account the COVID-19 pandemic that has disrupted our preparations for more than a year, the Harimau Malaya squad certainly need every advantage possible during this relatively short preparation period and we can do all that at the well-equipped JDT Training Centre.”
