Harian Metro reported the opinion of football observer University Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Coaching Science Senior Lecturer Dr Zulakbal Abd Karim that the key to Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) is the complete professional module emphasised.
“JDT are indeed far ahead of other competitors in the M-League. Their structure is spot on and have the right individuals in their system. As for structure, we can see every department within the club have their respective roles. They have branding, technical and sports science departments.
“It the same for individual roles, especially owner HRH Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim. His Royal Highness has a clear vision to be obtained in addition to the drive of being the best. Not just having a team but being passionate, and this is what other teams lack. When all factors from the structure and individual vision are put together, this is the end result.”
According to him, the postponement of the M-League for almost five months may have affected other teams’ performance but it not really an excuse.
“By the JDT management having a plan B dan C in addition to the complete training facilities, they look more ready than others,” he said.
