Following a decree by club owner HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor, Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) will appoint an ex-military personnel as Chief Stadium Security to oversee all security matters, including the managing and training of marshals.
Regarding new signings, the club have identified four new signings — three foreign players and only one local player. JDT will also retain all current senior team local and foreign players. Three players from JDT II will also be promoted to the senior team.
HRH Crown Prince of Johor also decreed to briefly delay phase 1 construction of the new JDT Training Centre in Iskandar Puteri due to financial constraints caused by the current economic situation in Malaysia.
