UNICEF PARTNERSHIP YET ANOTHER JDT HUMANITARIAN EFFORT

Johor Darul Ta’zim FC’s (JDT) partnership with UNICEF for the betterment of children is yet another humanitarian effort by the club following previous corporate social responsibility projects.

“It is very important to ensure we do not lose touch with our roots and our human perspective as an organisation,” said HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor.

JDT have never shied from displaying their humanitarian touch with multiple aids to flood and earthquakes victims in Johor, Penang, Pahang, Sabah and more previously.

The JDT players and officials also donated a portion of their salaries to the Johor Disaster Fund in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic while the club donated all proceeds — RM680,000 — from the 2019 JDT All-Stars Friendly to the Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Foundation, Women’s Aid Organisation and National Cancer Society of Malaysia.

JDT and UNICEF will now partner to raise funds for efforts to ensure every child has the opportunity to grow healthy and happy, live safely and achieve their full potential. Luaskan Kuasamu Johor.
