I’m very happy with the fighting spirit of the team. We never dropped or lowered our heads after we were conceded the two goals.
We know Nagoya is a powerful team, second in the J-League at the moment. We knew it was going to be very difficult. We rested some players so they can recover for the next game, and the boys that played gave a really good performance. They tried their best, they were pressing, they were running and they were having the ball and executing our identity.
I think stats wise we led in a lot of the situations. It was very difficult to see two balls hitting the bar… that could have been a different story. But I think to control maybe 55 minutes of the game is a great achievement for us because our style, our game plan was successful and we just needed another two goals to close in a good way. But this is football and this will boost the team to go on and fight Ratchaburi with all we got so we can get the three points.
