This Semuanya Bola article quotes Felda United head coach Nidzam Jamil openly admitting that every team in the Malaysian League needs to reach 50 percent of Johor Darul Ta’zim FC’s (JDT) standard to improve the quality of the football league in Malaysia.

In the ‘Catch Up Kool FM – Spectator Sukan’ interview programme, Nidzam also praised JDT for “having their own facilities and a coaching line-up filled with coaches of great talent and potential in every area.”

Nidzam also admitted that more people like HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor are needed: “I feel we need to have 25 TMJs. To be at the same level [as JDT] I feel we need more people like TMJ.”

“To achieve results [success], we always say that JDT keep becoming champions but their recipe has been proven, so we need to have more people like him [TMJ] to lead football clubs. We cannot copy the way he works but maybe a leader needs to have the same spirit,” he added.
